Trumbull Tourism Launches ‘Where’s Wally’ Scavenger Hunt – Business Journal Daily

WARREN, Ohio – The new “Where’s Wally?” From Trumbull County Tourism Board The Scavenger Hunt with Mobile Passes offers an engaging way to learn about many of the sights the county has to offer.

The mobile pass is an extension of “Where’s Wally?” Facebook campaign launched last year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It features Wally, the beagle of one of the office staff, who is pictured visiting landmarks in the county.

The “Where’s Wally?” »The mobile pass is free to register and participate, and is available through registration on smartphone or computer. The GPS-driven pass offers a personalized tour of the county, showing Wally’s location, site information, and other area attractions.

“We want to encourage visitors and residents to go out safely and actively; to enjoy the charm and vibrancy of Trumbull County, ”said Beth Kotwis Carmichael, Executive Director of Trumbull County Tourism.

Users can check in at eight different locations and answer questions along the way. They can also find “other points of interest” near each site. The first 200 users to complete the hunt will receive a “Where’s Wally?” Plush toy. »Toy in a secret location that is only revealed after checking in all eight areas.
