Snohomish County Seeks Contractor for Revised Tourism Strategic Plan

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Washington August 24, 2021 – Snohomish County is seeking a contractor to help collaborate on a four-year strategic tourism plan. The Tourism Strategic Plan (STP) provides the county with a clear marketing strategy and management structure to develop and optimize sustainable tourism in Snohomish County.

The updated STP will build on the existing plan by:

  • renew the key performance indicators (KPI);
  • review the destination’s marketing brand;
  • the overhaul of the marketing strategy; and
  • creation of a tourism partner engagement plan.

Entrepreneurs will also conduct research, produce a written strategic tourism plan, recommend messaging and marketing strategy, and create metrics for monitoring and evaluation, branding, and community engagement. The revised STP will align closely with the county’s post-pandemic economic recovery plan.

The County will provide the Contractor with access to current tourist memberships, subscriptions and data metrics.

Entrepreneur’s applications at the request of the proposal must be submitted before September 8, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. The Tourism team plans to select a contractor by the end of September.

To apply for the RFP, please submit a completed Contractor Proposal to [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. on September 8, 2022.
